PLEASE NOTE: NO BEGINNER CLASS THIS MONTH

Come one, come all and throw your hat in the ring for two fun, all-levels Jack & Jill competitions! We’ll have a competition prep workshop at 7pm, preliminary rounds during what would usually be the 8pm workshop, and then spotlight finals at 10pm in front of a roaring crowd of friends. Everyone is welcome, even if you've never competed before! Win passes to local dances and national events as well as cash.

DIVISIONS

All-American= an open-level contest. Everyone is in the same competition, and you can draw absolutely anyone

Sophisticated= an open-level contest for dancers who are aged 35 years and older. If you’re dancing in Sophisticated, you can also enter the All-American contest.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

A Jack & Jill or J&J contest means that you'll get randomly assigned partners and dance to music chosen by the DJ (which you won't know ahead of time). In both the Sophisticated and All-American contests, you'll be randomly matched with~3-4 partners in the preliminary round and judged as an individual leader or follower. If you are selected to move on to the final round, you'll be randomly matched with one partner. You'll stay together for the entire final and be judged as a partnership. Both divisions are a spotlight final, so you and your partner are center stage with everyone cheering just for you!

There are no restrictions on who can lead or follow. Please dance the role that brings you the most joy.
