Swing Dancing in the hub
We’re Dirty Water West Coast Swing, a monthly west coast swing dance in Greater Boston. Run by locals, for locals (and friends passing through), we strive to provide a top-quality experience for our dance community. With a mix of international professionals and home-grown talent, we throw a party every month that is not to be missed.
Dances are held on the second Saturday of the month at the George Dilboy VFW Post in Somerville, MA unless otherwise noted.

Collab alert 🚨🚨🚨 Our friends from DanceBoston are joining our party for an extra-special night of competition debrief from NEDF and prepping for Summer Hummer! Want feedback on your competition dances from some of the folks on the judging panel? Getting ready to throw your hat in the ring in a future competition? Send in your videos from Liberty, NEDF, the Dirty Water WCS All-American (😉) and get a judge’s perspective on how you can perform at your best on the floor. Don’t worry, we won’t just be watching videos all night- we’ll be actively working on integrating the technique into our bodies, too. Even if you don’t have or want to submit a video for feedback, come out to learn about how to self-evaluate your dancing and bring your skills to the next level!
The first eight video submissions will receive a discount on their admission to the event!
We have residential neighbors at this venue who appreciate their sleep and their resident-only parking spots. Please monitor your volume outside of the venue and take care not to park in marked resident spots or on the left-hand side of the garage (the right side is safe after the hours posted on the signs).
